The MEADOWCREEK MUNICIPAL UTILITY DISTRICT will hold a public hearing on a proposed tax rate for the tax year 2026 on Tuesday, September 15, 2026 at 1:00 P.M. at the Quail Valley Utility District Office, 3134 Cartwright Road, Missouri City, Texas 77459. Your individual taxes may increase at a greater or lesser rate, or even decrease, depending on the tax rate that is adopted and on the change in the taxable value of your property in relation to the change in taxable value of all other property. The change in the taxable value of your property in relation to the change in the taxable value of all other property determines the distribution of the tax burden among all property owners.

Utility District Notice: No Credit Card Processing

Dear Customer:

Effective immediately (January 22, 2026), our online payment portal for credit cards is temporarily out of service. You can make a check payment by using your checking account. Call the phone payment system at: 855-230-7396 or go online to quailvalleyud.org and go to districts served at the top to locate your district, then click on the online bill pay tab on the page. You may also make a payment at our office location by check, cashier’s check, or money order at: 3134 Cartwright Road Missouri City, Texas 77459 or mailed to: P. O. Box 223763 Dallas, Texas 75222-3763.

Notice of Water and Sewer Rate Increase

The Board of Directors of Meadowcreek Utility District approved water and sewer rate increase to be effective July 1, 2025. The district has not increased water and sewer rates since 2018.

The new rate change will be effective on water and sewer bills received after July 31st. The water and sewer rates will increase approximately 12%. The new rates are expected to increase the monthly water and sewer bill for the average single-family home by $4.00 to $9.00 a month.

The increase is due to the inflationary cost of operations, supplies, and materials.

The rate increase does not reflect the TCEQ Fee, Ground Water Reduction Plan Fee (GRP), or Garbage Fees, which are not set by the district.
